Bmw M4 Weight Reduction. Weight distribution will have an effect on traction, but as a general rule, the more weight you have, the more “traction” you’ll need to accelerate that weight. I do mostly roll racing with my m4c xdrive and i’m looking to do some weight reduction.

If you want to get a pretty close approximation of the weight of the cage you can base it off the linear footage of material. Does anyone know where to find the *actual* equation that can extrapolate weight loss of wheels (rotating mass) to the ‘feel’ of the car?
